Looking Forward To The Future

From the woods to suburbia. The changes will be many, but I'm looking forward to the future and what it will bring. So many new things to experience. So many things to learn. I look forward to it all and hopefully it will bring a forever family into my life to share all these new things with me.

The Next Journey To Forever

My day started off like any other at Janet's house, she's the one that found us and took us in to her family, but by dinner time I knew something was going to be different. Nate and I ate dinner together, but it didn't seem the same. Nate was quiet

Then Janet wanted a picture of Nate and I together with her. She never did that before. I was taken to the car without Nate. I've never been anywhere without Nate. Why wasn't he coming too?

Then I got to this house with a bunch of dogs I didn't recognized and people that were really kind, but I didn't know them either. Pru and Tim kept me over night then took me to my next let of the trip. Thanks for helping me on my journey.
Janet and Scott took pictures, which I really don't like, but everyone wanted just one more picture. Then it was time for them to leave. Janet was really sad, but she told me to be a good girl and that I was going to a happy home as part of my journey. That going in a foster home will end with a forever family who will love me forever. Thank you for all you've done for me. I love you.

On my trip from Ohio to Illinois there were other dogs with me. This is Belle. She is coming along and going to her forever home. She was telling me that foster care is cool and not to worry. They take really good care of you. The another girl Maggie, was a little under the weather and didn't want her picture taken, but she was really nice to me too.

It's been a really long day and my foster daddy let me sleep in his chair. He didn't even mind my snoring :o)

People Came To Visit Me

I had two nice ladies come and visit me today from Illinois Birddog Rescue. This was the first time we had a chance to talk. I had to tell them all about my stay here and what a wonderful lady Janet is for taking me and Nate in. They had this to say about me. "She is pocket setter sized. A loving family home where someone can take the time to spend with her, to love her up, and build her confidence will go a long way. She's a little timid right now, but she is so sweet and loving. She just comes up to you for love with her tail planted in between her legs the whole time. When you call her over she runs as fast as she can to you, stops, and then lowers her head, but she so much wants that affection. She is small, sweet and quiet.

She loves to be outside and will enjoy her own yard. She and Nate are obviously hunting dogs and are both extremely birdy."

How I Spend My Day

I'd like to show you how I spend my day.

Taking a little rest before
going outside and enjoying the human time together.

Then a little more rest time before
I sit at the window and watch EVERY bird or critter that goes by.

Well I do play once in a while with these new kids around here. I have 7 to choose from.

That's my day.
